A Madame Tussauds London map matters less for finding a room than for choosing what to spend the time on. The museum is a stack of themed zones, a ride and a few extra experiences, and the entry ticket opens most of them. This page maps the street around it first, then the zones I would see inside. If you have not booked yet, my guide to tickets for Madame Tussauds London compares entry, Fast Track and the passes.
Madame Tussauds London Map: Entrance, Stations and Sights Nearby
The map below shows the museum on Marylebone Road with the nearest stations and the sights around it, from Google Maps data.
Great Portland Street · Station · about 12 min walk
Edgware Road · Station · about 16 min walk
Bond Street · Station · about 17 min walk
Edgware Road · Station · about 18 min walk
Marble Arch · Station · about 18 min walk
Warren Street · Station · about 18 min walk
Marble Arch · Nearby sight · about 18 min walk
By Google Maps, the nearest station is Baker Street, about 3 minutes on foot by my estimate, which fits the official accessibility guide’s figure of 200 m. Regent’s Park is about 9 minutes away, Marylebone station about 10 and Great Portland Street about 12. Bond Street is about 17 minutes and Oxford Circus about 20. Those times come from straight-line distance multiplied by 1.3 at 4.8 km/h, so treat them as estimates. The official guide adds that the nearest step-free tube station is Euston, according to TfL guidance. The London Eye is 53 minutes away on foot, so you will want the tube between the two if you book a combo.
I looked for an official floor plan to link as an official map and did not find one on madametussauds.com. The site has a page for each zone and an accessibility guide that is also published as a PDF. I could not confirm that the guide contains a Madame Tussauds London map of the floors, so I have not linked it as one. The museum is in a building on Marylebone Road that opened to visitors in 1884, per Wikipedia, after the original site on Baker Street. The route below is my own grouping of the official zone list, and I could not find the official visiting order, so follow the signs on the day.
The Route I Would Take Inside Madame Tussauds London
This is what to see inside Madame Tussauds London, grouped by theme. The times are blank on purpose because no source I read gives one per zone.

Awards Party and Baker Street Studios
On a Madame Tussauds London map of themes, this is where the film and awards figures sit. The entry listing says you make your way up the red carpet to see A-list celebrities, sporting legends and political heavyweights. It also says the ropes and poles have gone, so you can get up close to the figures. The official page names Awards Party as the A-list awards setting and Baker Street Studios as the film zone. A reviewer wrote that the figures included movie characters they grew up with, and that a young daughter loved the pop stars.

“very cool place I recommend it for the whole family to have fun!!!” – GetYourGuide review
Culture Capital is one of the zones on the official list, with its own page on madametussauds.com. The entry listing says the museum includes historical icons, and I would use this stretch to slow down after the film figures. The building spreads over six floors served by lifts, per the official accessibility guide, so you move between zones by lift as well as on foot.
The Royal Palace
The royals take their own corner of any Madame Tussauds London map of the zones. The official site lists The Royal Palace zone for the royals, and the entry listing names a Royal Balcony experience. It describes joining the Royal Family on the iconic Buckingham Palace balcony and taking a selfie with a royal couple. Wikipedia notes that the museum’s first galleries held about 400 figures, and royal figures are among the subjects the museum’s early displays covered, though I could not confirm which ones.
Marvel Hall of Heroes and Star Wars
The two blockbuster zones are the film-franchise part of the Madame Tussauds London map. Marvel Hall of Heroes and Star Wars are separate zones on the official page. The entry listing includes a Star Wars experience and a Marvel Universe 4D movie, while the official page now lists Jumanji 4D as a new experience, so the film lineup changes and I would read the current page before you plan around one title. A reviewer wrote that their teenage son loved the Marvel section.
The Spirit of London Ride
The Spirit of London is a large animated dark ride that opened in 1993, per Wikipedia. A reviewer of the Fast Track listing said they loved the ride in the black cab, and a family reviewer said the whole family enjoyed it. The official accessibility guide says it is not accessible to guests who cannot walk unaided, and offers a virtual reality alternative.
The Chamber of Horrors
The last stop on my Madame Tussauds London map is the one to weigh up before you go. The Chamber of Horrors is on both the official list and the entry listing. Wikipedia says its early displays were models of murderers, and that the name was used in advertising as early as 1843. It is the darkest part of the visit, so I would think about it before bringing very young children. One of the traveller questions people ask is whether there is a scary part, and this is the answer.

“Due to my wife's mobility issues, we were able to bypass the long line waiting for tickets. We also had the Champagne bar as part of the entry.” – GetYourGuide review
Inside Madame Tussauds London: Extras and Upgrades
Several extras sit on top of the base visit. The official page lists a Champagne Bar Experience as a paid VIP upgrade with fast-track entry and a complimentary drink, and a Wax Hand experience. The Fast Track listing says the champagne option adds access to some of the archive pieces. I would only pay for the upgrade if the queue is your main worry, because the standard entry already includes the ride and the main zones in the listing.
What the Madame Tussauds London Map Cannot Show
A Madame Tussauds London map of the streets cannot tell you how busy a zone is, and neither can I from the data. The reviews are mixed on photos: one traveller noted that it can be difficult to take pictures with some figures, which I take as a sign of crowds at the popular ones. For quieter visits, the official opening times page lists the day’s hours, and my guide to the hours gives the figures I could confirm. A pass such as the five-attraction listing at $79 adds other Merlin attractions and is valid for 90 days.
Planning Around the Map
Plan for about 2 to 2.5 hours inside Madame Tussauds London, and keep a second look at the Madame Tussauds London map of the street for the way back to the tube. Wheelchair users must book a slot at least 24 hours ahead, per the official guide. For the dates and hours, see my Madame Tussauds London opening hours guide, and for the story of the wax museum read my Madame Tussauds London history page. When you are ready to book, compare every Madame Tussauds London ticket in one place. The home page lists the other attractions I cover.

I did not find a floor plan on madametussauds.com. The site lists the zones and experiences and has an accessibility guide in PDF, but I could not confirm that the guide contains a map, so I have not linked a floor plan. The route below groups the zones by theme and is not the museum's official order.
What is inside Madame Tussauds London?+
The official site lists zones including Awards Party, The Fashion Runway, Baker Street Studios, Culture Capital, The Royal Palace, Impossible Festival, Marvel Hall of Heroes and Star Wars, plus experiences such as the Spirit of London ride, the Chamber of Horrors and Jumanji 4D.
How long do you need inside Madame Tussauds London?+
The official page I read suggests 1.5 to 2 hours, and the entry listings I compared state 2 to 2.5 hours. I would plan for the longer figure if you want the ride and the 4D film.
Is Madame Tussauds London wheelchair accessible?+
Per the official accessibility guide, lifts serve the six floors and wheelchair users must book a slot online at least 24 hours ahead, with up to three wheelchair users in the building at once. The Spirit of London ride is not accessible to guests who cannot walk unaided, and a virtual reality alternative is offered.
