Barcelona attraction tickets start at $20 for the Joan Miró Foundation, but the one I’d book first is Sagrada Familia: the $38 audio-guide ticket is the most reviewed, with 4.6 stars from 122,140 reviews, and the official site sells from 26 euros. Casa Batlló ($32) and Casa Milà ($29) come next. Parc de la Ciutadella and the Magic Fountain show are free, Montserrat is a day trip, and my city pass comparison shows when a pass pays off.

I compared Barcelona attraction tickets and tours for 14 sights, which are every Barcelona attraction I have a full page for. Prices are US dollars from GetYourGuide, checked in November 2026, and the buttons that open GetYourGuide are affiliate links (see my about page). Each attraction below has its own ticket comparison, linked in the table and in the text.
Barcelona Attraction Tickets at a Glance
This table shows the cheapest of the Barcelona attraction tickets for each sight, the rating of its most reviewed product and whether you can get in without paying. The cheapest price is not always an entry ticket: the $28 Sagrada Familia listing is a walk that stays outside the basilica by default, and the cheapest ticket that gets you inside is $38.

Gaudí’s Barcelona: Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Casa Milà and Park Güell
The four Gaudí sights are where most Barcelona attraction tickets get sold, and they are also where the choice between a plain ticket and a guide matters most. Sagrada Familia is the one I’d never skip. The official prices page lists 26 euros for the basic ticket, 30 with a guided tour, 36 with the towers and 40 with both. On GetYourGuide the audio-guide entry is $38, and I’d pick the Crown Tours priority-access tour at $60 if you want a live guide, which scores 4.8 from 6,433 reviews. My full comparison of every Sagrada Familia ticket covers the tower options, and the opening hours guide covers the seasons.

“Our guide Lena gave us incredibly detailed and informed tour. We had a most wonderful time. 10/10!!” – GetYourGuide review
Casa Batlló sells its own tickets from 29 euros, per the official ticket page. The $32 self-guided entry on GetYourGuide is the most reviewed at 4.6 stars from 33,334 reviews, so it is the one I’d choose when you only want to get inside. If you would rather see the house after dark, the Casa Batlló tickets page compares the night visits. Casa Milà, also called La Pedrera, is a short walk away, and its Essential ticket is 29 euros on lapedrera.com. The $29 GetYourGuide entry with an audio guide has 4.7 stars from 29,923 reviews, which makes it the better rated of the two houses by a small margin. Read the Casa Milà ticket guide before you decide.

“Seeing the genius of Gaudí's work up close is always Gaudí's fantastic.” – GetYourGuide review
Park Güell is the cheapest of the four to enter. The official site sells tickets from 18 euros, and the plain GetYourGuide admission is $24 with 91,834 reviews. I’d book the Golden Tour Guide tour at $28 for a first visit, rated 4.7 from 23,564 reviews, because the park is bigger and more confusing than it looks on a map. Entry is by time band, so the Park Güell ticket comparison is the page to read before you pick a slot.

“Really enjoyed. Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Great activity.” – GetYourGuide review
The Old City and the Waterfront: Cathedral, Picasso, Palau and Aquarium
The second group of attraction tickets in Barcelona sits close together on the east side of the centre, and I’d treat it as one day. Barcelona Cathedral sells its cultural visit at 16 euros, per the cathedral’s visit page, and the $22 entry ticket includes the rooftop. If you want the stories, the $35 guided tour with rooftop access is the next step up, and the Barcelona Cathedral ticket page compares them.
The Picasso Museum is the one sight here where I would not pay a reseller unless I wanted a guide. The museum’s own ticket page lists 12 euros online, and every GetYourGuide listing I found is a guided tour or a walk, starting at $40. The best reviewed is the $41 skip-the-line guided tour at 4.6 stars from 3,976 reviews. The Picasso Museum tickets page has the full comparison.

“Our guide, Romina, was very engaging. I love the way she spoke, engaged the teeners, and spoke diff languages! She even knew some Tagalog / Filipino words. She is amazing!” – GetYourGuide review
The Palau de la Música Catalana is a concert hall you can tour in the daytime. The venue sells its own visits at palaumusica.cat, from 20 euros self-guided and 24 euros guided. On GetYourGuide the guided tour is $27 for 50 minutes, rated 4.7 from 3,762 reviews, and the self-guided entry is $22. My Palace of Catalan Music tickets page explains the difference, and I’d book the guided one.

“Location of starting point was unclear. Waited in the wrong (albeit short) line.” – GetYourGuide review
Parc de la Ciutadella is free to walk into, so the only tickets are for extras such as a $25 kids tour with a map. I’d go in without a ticket, and the Parc de la Ciutadella page lists the two paid activities. The Barcelona Aquarium is down by the port. Its own site, aquariumbcn.com, sells the day ticket at 30 euros for ages 11 and over, and the GetYourGuide entry is $33 with 20,112 reviews at 4.4 stars. It is the one sight in this list I’d book mainly for families, and the Barcelona Aquarium tickets page shows the only other listing.

“Absolutely beautiful and amazing experience. Highly recommended 👌🏽” – GetYourGuide review
Montjuïc: Cable Car, Magic Fountain and the Joan Miró Foundation
Montjuïc is a hill with several separate attractions, and Barcelona attraction tickets here are mostly cheap or free. The Telefèric de Montjuïc sells a round trip at 17.10 euros for an adult on its official site, and the $21 GetYourGuide round trip is the most reviewed Montjuïc ticket, at 4.5 stars from 25,285 reviews. That is the one I’d book, and the Montjuïc tickets page adds the walking tour with the castle at $60 and the e-bike tour at $38.

“what a great trip. wonderful view of the city and the castle on the top was fun to walk through.” – GetYourGuide review
The Magic Fountain show needs no ticket. The City of Barcelona lists winter shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, per its show times page, and says the fountain is off from 1 to 15 November 2026 for maintenance. The two Magic Fountain tickets I found are guided tours that include the show, and I’d only pay for one if you want the guide. The Joan Miró Foundation is on the same hill. Its skip-the-line entry is $20, rated 4.6 from 1,587 reviews, and I could not read the museum’s own prices, so the Joan Miró Foundation tickets page tells you what to check on the official site.
Tibidabo and Montserrat: The Two Day-Trip Tickets
Tibidabo is on the hill behind the city, and Montserrat is a mountain about 36 km away. Both are real day outings, and I’d keep them for a third or fourth day. The Tibidabo amusement park sells a one-day entrance at 39 euros with the funicular included, per the official rates page. The GetYourGuide park ticket is $43. The park opens only on selected days, so read the Tibidabo tickets page for the schedule before you go.
Montserrat is the sight where a group trip makes the most sense. Public transport takes about 1 hour 30 minutes from Barcelona, per Turistren, and the small-group trips I compared run 6 to 9 hours with transport, a guide and a hike. The $78 trip with the easy hike and cable car has 4.9 stars from 1,352 reviews, and it is my pick. If you only want the boys’ choir, the $28 entry with the Escolania is the cheapest, and the Montserrat Monastery tickets page compares all nine.

“One of the can’t miss experiences of Spain. The small group tour was the best way to experience it with a knowledgeable and engaging guide.” – GetYourGuide review
Official Tickets or GetYourGuide for Barcelona Attraction Tickets
Most of the sights here sell their own tickets, so the real question is what the GetYourGuide listing adds. For Sagrada Familia the answer is often flexibility. The official rules page says tickets are nominative and non-transferable and that refunds and exchanges are generally not allowed, while the reseller tours I compared offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before. For the Picasso Museum the answer is a guide, since the museum charges 12 euros online and every listing I found starts at $40 because it includes a tour.
Prices in euros on the official sites and prices in dollars on GetYourGuide are not directly comparable, so convert them at the day’s rate before you decide that one is cheaper. When the two are close, as with Casa Milà at 29 euros officially and $29 for the audio-guide entry, I’d choose on the extras: the date you want, the cancellation window and whether a guide is included. Booking Barcelona attraction tickets directly is fine when your dates are fixed.
Booking Tips for Barcelona Attraction Tickets
Three habits save the most trouble with attraction tickets in Barcelona. First, check the product kind before you pay. Some listings are plain entry tickets, some are tours that include entry, and a few, such as the $28 Sagrada Familia walk, do not take you inside by default. Second, read the meeting point, because several tours start at a shop or an office near the sight, not at the entrance. Third, note the free-cancellation window, which on the tours I compared is usually 24 hours before the start.
If you are building a longer plan, my pages on free attractions in Barcelona and the city pass comparison help you decide how many paid Barcelona attraction tickets you really need.
Which Barcelona Attraction Tickets to Book First
With one day, I’d book Sagrada Familia and one of the two Gaudí houses, Casa Batlló or Casa Milà, because they are a short walk apart from each other and are the best known of the Barcelona attractions. With two days I’d add Park Güell on the first, and the old city on the second: the cathedral, the Picasso Museum and the Palau.
With three days, I’d keep one for Montjuïc. Start with the cable car, walk to the Joan Miró Foundation, and end with the Magic Fountain on an evening it runs. Montserrat or Tibidabo needs a fourth day. If you can book only one thing in advance, make it Sagrada Familia, since entry there is by time slot. The Park Güell time bands work the same way, so book that second.
A short rule I use is to book the entry-by-slot Barcelona attraction tickets first, then the museums, and leave the free ones for whenever the weather is good. My Barcelona attractions map shows how the sights group by area, with walking times, so you can put the bookings on the same day instead of crossing the city twice.
Free Attractions in Barcelona
Not every sight needs one of these Barcelona attraction tickets. Parc de la Ciutadella is free and open daily from 07:00 until dusk, per the Barcelona City Council, and the Magic Fountain show has no entry fee on the city’s own page. The Montjuïc hill is free to walk, though the cable car and the castle have their own prices.
Paid museums have free windows too. The Picasso Museum lists free entry on the first Sunday of each month and on Thursdays from 4 to 7 pm, and both need a reservation. My longer list of free attractions in Barcelona covers each one with its source.
Barcelona Attractions Map
If you want to see where everything sits before you buy your Barcelona attraction tickets, the Barcelona attractions map pins all 14 on one map and groups them into walkable clusters. The Gaudí houses sit in the Eixample, the cathedral, Picasso and the Palau are within about ten minutes of each other, and Montjuïc is its own cluster. Tibidabo and Montserrat are far outside it.
How I’d Choose
These are the Barcelona attraction tickets I’d pick for each type of visitor.
- Cheapest worthwhile ticket: the $20 Joan Miró Foundation entry, or the $21 Montjuïc cable car if you want the views. For a Gaudí sight, Park Güell from $24 is the least expensive plain entry.
- No queue, first visit: the $60 Sagrada Familia priority-access tour, and then the audio-guide entries for Casa Batlló at $32 and Casa Milà at $29.
- With a guide: the $28 Park Güell tour and the $41 Picasso Museum tour. Both are inexpensive for what they add.
- Families: the $33 aquarium entry and the free Parc de la Ciutadella. The Ciutadella kids tour at $25 has only one review, so I’d treat it as untested.
- Evening: the Magic Fountain on a show night, and the Casa Batlló night visit from $32.
- A day away from the city: the $78 Montserrat trip, or Tibidabo for views and rides on a day the park is open.
