The official Casa Milà opening hours for winter (2 November 2026 to 25 February 2027) are 9 am to 6:30 pm every day, with night visits from 7 to 11 pm; that includes today, Saturday 7 November 2026. Use the time on your own ticket for the slot you book. This guide covers the hours, the best time to go, how to get there and what to check at the door. To book, my comparison of Casa Milà tickets lists all 7 options with prices.
Casa Milà Opening Hours
Today’s Casa Milà opening hours are 9 am to 6:30 pm, with night visits from 7 pm. The official season table looks like this:
| Period |
Daytime |
Night visits |
| Winter, 2 Nov 2026 to 25 Feb 2027 |
9 am to 6:30 pm |
7 to 11 pm |
| Christmas, 26 Dec 2026 to 3 Jan 2027 |
9 am to 8:30 pm (1 Jan: 11 am to 8:30 pm) |
9 to 11 pm |
| Summer, 26 Feb to 1 Nov 2027 |
9 am to 8:30 pm |
8:40 to 10:20 pm |
The house closes on 6 July, 7 September and 25 December 2026, and from 11 to 17 January 2027, per lapedrera.com. The site gives no general last-entry time, and the Essential ticket page lists 9 am to 5:30 pm with last entry at 5:15 pm, so go well before closing. The two GetYourGuide products operated by the house itself give hints: the early-morning tour says it runs as the building is prepared to open to the public, and the Japanese early-access tour meets at 8:30, before regular opening. A listing from the house also says visits on the audio-guide ticket can start any time in operating hours on the chosen date.
Casa Milà Hours
The Casa Milà hours that matter day to day are your ticket’s. The audio-guide ticket is valid on the selected date, with entry any time during operating hours, and you explore at your own pace. The guided products work differently: you meet a guide at a set time, and the Japanese early-access listing says it is not possible to join or enter on your own if you are late. Groups there are up to 25 people, and the guide keeps the group to the planned route through the Flower Courtyard, the attic and the rooftop. The listing also warns that you may meet other small groups on tours in other languages in some areas of the building, so a quiet slot is quiet rather than empty.
That means the Casa Milà opening hours for a tour are a fixed window, and the hours for the plain ticket are flexible. In other words, the published Casa Milà opening hours tell you when the building is open, while the ticket tells you when you may walk in. If you arrive on the early side of the day, the early-access tours get you in before regular opening. Everyone on those tours leaves together with the guide, so you cannot stay on afterwards.
How Long to Visit Casa Milà
The listings give a good picture of how long to visit Casa Milà. The Japanese early-access tour takes 1 hour, the fast-track guided tour 75 minutes, the early-morning tour 1.5 hours, and the Kiefer exhibition ticket and the private tour 2 hours each. The audio-guide ticket gives no duration, and GetYourGuide’s own review summary says clearer information on how long the visit takes would help.
My own allowance is about 1.5 hours, well inside the Casa Milà opening hours, for the courtyards, the attic with the Espai Gaudí exhibition and the rooftop, plus extra time if the main-floor exhibition interests you. Wikipedia describes the attic as a former laundry area with 270 parabolic vaults, which is worth a slow look, and counts 28 chimneys on the roof, so the roof deserves a lingering walk too.
Best Time to Visit Casa Milà
Inside the Casa Milà opening hours, the best time to visit Casa Milà depends on whether you want the fewest people or the best light. For quiet, the clearest option in my data is an early-access tour. The early-morning tour is rated 4.8 from 282 reviews, and reviewers like going before the crowds and having the rooftop nearly to themselves. For light, one audio-guide reviewer went around 5 o’clock and says the sunset among the chimneys was amazing.

Season matters as much as the hour, and winter Casa Milà opening hours end in the dark. Open-Meteo’s 2025 weather record for Barcelona shows the sun setting at 5:22 pm in December and 9:26 pm in June, and rainy days per month ranging from 0 in June to 18 in March.

Rain is the thing to plan around, because two reviewers say the roof was closed in heavy rain while the courtyards stayed open. A late-afternoon sunset slot works from April, when the sun sets after 8:30 pm, and not in winter, when it is dark by about 5:30 pm.
Casa Milà Entrance and Meeting Points
Before you check the Casa Milà opening hours for your date, note that the house is at Passeig de Gràcia 92, the address Google Maps gives, and the entrance faces the corner with Carrer de Provença. The Japanese early-access tour meets in front of the entrance at that corner, with the guide holding a sign. The fast-track tour by Julià Travel Gray Line meets elsewhere on the same block, in front of the UNOde50 store at Passeig de Gràcia 92, and the Gaudí day tour starts at Casa Batlló, so read the meeting point on your own ticket.
How to Get to Casa Milà
When planning around the Casa Milà opening hours, note that the closest metro stop in my data is Diagonal, about 2 minutes on foot by my estimate (straight-line distance multiplied by 1.3 at 4.8 km/h). Verdaguer is about 10 minutes away, Passeig de Gràcia about 11 and Girona about 13. Plaça de Catalunya is about 18 minutes, and the Sagrada Família is roughly 23. Casa Batlló is the nearest other Gaudí house, about 8 minutes along the same boulevard. The line numbers and service details are on the TMB metro pages, the transit operator, so I won’t guess them here.
From the house, Casa Batlló is a short walk, the Sagrada Família a longer one and Park Güell a metro ride away, which is why many visitors plan a Gaudí day around them.
What to Know Before You Go
The Casa Milà opening hours are only part of the picture. The first points below come from the house’s regulations, the rest from the listings and a review summary.

-
Children: under-18s must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 12 enter free.

Reduced tickets: reduced and free prices need proof, such as a student card.
-
Wheelchairs: the public parts are step-free, but the rooftop and mezzanine are not suitable for wheelchairs or prams, per the accessibility notes.
-
ID for children: the fast-track tour notes that staff may ask for ID to verify a child’s age and may charge the adult difference without it.
-
Accessibility: the fast-track tour is listed as wheelchair accessible, and the Kiefer exhibition ticket lists sensory and cognitive accessibility resources. A reviewer says the elevators were made available on request, and another advises taking the elevator because you see nothing from the stairs.
-
Seating: a French reviewer of the early-morning tour wished for benches for people who find standing difficult.
-
Cancellation: every listing I compared offers free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
-

-
Heritage: Gaudí’s works, Casa Milà among them, were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984, and Wikipedia gives the build years as 1906 to 1912.
