The cheapest of The London Dungeon tickets I could compare is the $65 combo with the London Eye, which is also the most reviewed at 4.6 stars from 819 reviews. An audio walk bundle costs $85 and a Harry Potter walking tour with entry costs $91. The official site sells its own tickets from 27 pounds per adult (thedungeons.com). If you want the Eye too, I’d book the combo.
I compared every one of The London Dungeon tickets on GetYourGuide as of 7 November 2026, and there are only three. None is a plain entry ticket, which surprised me, because the official site sells one. Prices are in US dollars from the listings. The official prices are in pounds and I have not converted them. The booking buttons are affiliate links, as I explain on my about page.

The London Dungeon Tickets and Prices
The London Dungeon tickets and prices on GetYourGuide start with the combo, which bundles a Dungeon entry with a London Eye flight for $65. It is a pass-type listing valid for 90 days from first activation, rated 4.6 from 819 reviews, with free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead. You book the date and time for the Dungeon there and then book your Eye time slot using the instructions on your confirmation voucher.

“Amazing, since I book the activity at 10:00 I went to the dungeon museum. For the London I couldn’t log in with the same ticket I had to go to the customer care / service to get the printed ticket . Otherwise everything was prefect” – GetYourGuide review
The listing’s meeting point says to join the “next show” line at your booked slot with your e-ticket, and to go to the standard London Eye entrance 30 minutes before your Eye slot. Both attractions sit in the same County Hall building, about 90 metres apart by my straight-line estimate, so the pairing is easy to walk.
One reviewer could not use the same ticket at the Eye and had to collect a printed ticket from customer care, so leave a few spare minutes. Another reviewer rearranged an Eye slot when the day ran late and said staff helped without fuss.

Prices are the lowest per-person prices on GetYourGuide when I last checked; the final price depends on the date, time slot and age.
Pricing is where the official site and the reseller differ. The official site lists a standard ticket, an anytime ticket and bundles, and I found no equivalent entry-only listing on GetYourGuide. That means the combo is the best value among The London Dungeon tickets on GetYourGuide I can show, not the cheapest way into the Dungeon alone.
Skip-the-Line The London Dungeon Tickets
Skip-the-line The London Dungeon tickets are a loose idea here, because every entry is already timed. The only listing that talks about queues is the WeGoTrip audio walk bundle at $85, whose meeting point says to show your smartphone ticket at the “access with ticket” entrance.

Be careful with this one of The London Dungeon tickets. The ticket and the digital tour are available on the WeGoTrip app only. The listing says there is no personal guide and no headphones, and that the Dungeon has a live guide of its own, so no audio tour plays inside. The one reviewer found the audio tour interesting but relatively short, easy to use, and said it started from the Dungeon.
Among The London Dungeon tickets, I would not pay the $20 gap over the Eye combo for this unless the walk appeals. At $85 you get a short city walk instead of a flight on the London Eye, and a single review is not enough for me to vouch for it.
“The groups are quite large so try stand to the front if you want to see well.”
— GetYourGuide reviewer
London Dungeon How Long Is Tour
How long the London Dungeon tour takes depends on what you buy, because the listings measure different things. The combo has no duration, only a 90-day validity. The audio walk bundle states 1 hour, which I read as the walk. The Harry Potter tour states 5 hours, and the Dungeon is its last stop.

“The tour was easy to find and left on time. We walked at a reasonable pace so it was easy to keep up. Our guide, Mike, was interesting and very well informed. Overall it was an excellent experience.” – GetYourGuide review
The Harry Potter walk from Top Sights Tours covers Platform 9 3/4, Cecil Court, Goodwin’s Court, the Palace Theatre, Leicester Square and Westminster before crossing to Southwark and London Bridge and ending at the Dungeon. It includes a guide, two Potter shop discount codes and the Dungeon entry, and leaves out the tube fares, which the listing puts at about 6 pounds for two journeys.
The ratings are weaker than the other London Dungeon tickets, the combo especially. Several reviewers praise the guides for Potter knowledge and general London stories, while two complain about a guide who did not show and a slow refund. At 3.7 from only 30 reviews, I’d read the recent reviews before booking. English is the stated language.
For the Dungeon itself, a ticket-seller’s search listing in my check mentioned around an hour and a half, but I could not find a show length on the official pages I could open. I’d plan two hours with queueing, and treat that as my estimate, not a published figure.
Is the London Dungeon Scary?
Is London Dungeon scary? Yes, in the way a haunted house is, and the reviews are consistent about it. Reviewers mention jump scares, loud noises, actors who stay in character, and sections that are pitch black, disorienting and a bit claustrophobic. The description on the combo lists Sweeney Todd’s barber shop, Whitechapel with Jack the Ripper, a Newgate Prison ride and a tavern.
“We didn’t realise the London Dungeon was a haunted house-style event though and we were a bit scared.”
— GetYourGuide reviewer
One reviewer described a small ride at the end, and another said most scares come from loud noises and sound. Wikipedia describes the attraction as recreating gory and macabre historical events in a gallows humour style with live actors, special effects and rides (Wikipedia).
The tone of the show is comic horror, not graphic horror, and The London Dungeon tickets suit people who can handle darkness and surprise. If someone in your group hates being startled, they may want to stand at the back, though the same reviewer warns that the groups are large and the front gives the best view.
Is the London Dungeon OK for Kids?
Is the London Dungeon ok for kids? That depends on the child. The combo listing says it is not suitable for children under 12 or people of a nervous disposition. It also says children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and unaccompanied minors are not allowed.
Reviewers split on family value of The London Dungeon tickets. One family with young children called it an amazing, interactive experience, another reviewer thought it was perhaps for kids aged 12 and up, and another said it was not for young children. I could not read the official age guidance, so check thedungeons.com before you book for younger children.
The London Eye side of the combo is easier on a mixed-age group, and it is the part I would lean on if one child is nervous about the Dungeon.
Is the London Dungeon Worth It?
Is the London Dungeon worth it? My view is yes for a group that wants a lively hour or two, and no if you want facts and objects. A reviewer put it well: it is more of a fun experience than an informative one, sort of like a haunted house with a small ride at the end. The same reviewer says photos are not allowed inside.
The numbers are good but not stellar. The combo has 4.6 from 819 reviews on GetYourGuide, while Google Maps gives the attraction 4.3 from 20,426 ratings. The difference suggests that people who buy a bundle are generally pleased, and that a wider crowd is more critical.
“London Dungeons was soooooo fun. Honestly the actors tried very hard and stayed in character.”
— GetYourGuide reviewer
Value depends on the bundle, and the price of The London Dungeon tickets only makes sense next to what is added. At 27 pounds standard on the official site, the Dungeon alone is cheaper than the $65 combo, but the combo buys an Eye flight on top, and the official 2-attraction bundle at 49 pounds is the figure to compare against.
The London Dungeon Price
The London Dungeon price depends on where you buy and what you add. Per the official site, the standard ticket is from 27 pounds per adult, anytime entry from 35 pounds, two attractions 49 pounds, three attractions 54 pounds and five attractions 59 pounds. Child prices were not listed on the page I could open.

Prices of The London Dungeon tickets move with the date and demand, so treat the official figures as a snapshot from 7 November 2026. The Madame Tussauds London listings also include a five-attraction Merlin pass with the Dungeon, which I cover on my Madame Tussauds London tickets page.
London Dungeon Tickets On the Day
London Dungeon tickets on the day may be possible, but I would not plan around it. The official site sells timed e-tickets, and the combo I compared asks you to choose a date and time slot. I could not read a walk-up policy, so I cannot tell you whether a slot is held back for people at the door.
Booking The London Dungeon tickets ahead is a small risk reduction rather than a guarantee. Saturday hours on Google Maps run 10 am to 5 pm, longer than the 11 am to 4 pm shown for the other days, and a weekend slot is the one I would book early. If your plans change, the GetYourGuide listings offer free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead, which a same-day purchase cannot use.
The London Dungeon Tickets Discount
Most of the real saving on The London Dungeon tickets discount searches comes from bundling. The official site says “Best price guaranteed” and promotes bundles of two, three and five attractions, with the five-attraction bundle at 59 pounds per adult, only a little above the 49 pounds for two.
The Merlin family also includes the London Eye and Madame Tussauds, and my Madame Tussauds page lists a five-attraction pass that includes the Dungeon. I found no 2 for 1 offer on the pages I could read, so check any voucher’s terms before relying on it. I would not trust a discount code from a random site over a bundle priced on the official page.
Is There a Dungeon at the Tower of London?
People searching for Tower of London dungeon tickets are often looking for this attraction, and The London Dungeon tickets are the ones sold for County Hall. The London Dungeon is on the South Bank in County Hall, while the Tower of London is a separate medieval fortress about 3 km away by my straight-line estimate, rated 4.7 on Google Maps. They have no shared ticket among The London Dungeon tickets I compared.
If you want real history with prison stories, the Tower is the place. I’d choose the Dungeon for a staged, theatrical hour of scares. Both fit into a long weekend.
The London Dungeon Opening Hours and Getting There
Google Maps shows 11 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and Sunday, and 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday. The official site showed “10am - 5pm” for today when I opened it, a Saturday. Waterloo is the closest station at about 4 minutes on foot by my estimate. Full details are in my visitor guide to The London Dungeon opening hours.

How I’d Choose
Most visitors: of The London Dungeon tickets, the $65 Dungeon and London Eye combo, because it is the best reviewed and the stops sit in one building.
Cheapest for the Dungeon alone: the official standard ticket from 27 pounds, since no entry-only listing exists on GetYourGuide.
Harry Potter fans: the $91 option among The London Dungeon tickets, walking tour, with the caution of 3.7 stars from 30 reviews.
Independent walkers: the $85 audio walk bundle, though it has one review so far.
Families with children under 12: think twice, as the listing advises against it.
Nervous visitors: skip it or pick the Eye alone.
Frequently asked questions
How much does The London Dungeon cost?+
The official site lists a standard ticket from 27 pounds per adult and an anytime ticket from 35 pounds. On GetYourGuide I found no entry-only listing: the cheapest is the London Dungeon and London Eye combo at $65, then an audio walk bundle at $85 and a Harry Potter walking tour at $91. Child prices were not shown on the page I could read.
Is London Dungeon worth it?+
I think it is if you enjoy actors, jump scares and a short ride, and not if you want a museum. The combo with the London Eye has 4.6 stars from 819 GetYourGuide reviews, and reviewers keep praising the actors. Google Maps rates the attraction itself lower, at 4.3 from 20,426 ratings, so expect a mixed crowd.
Can you just turn up at London Dungeon?+
The official site sells timed tickets online and the combo I compared uses a booked time slot, so I would not rely on walking up. I could not read an official walk-up policy, so check thedungeons.com before you go on a weekend or school holiday.
How to get cheaper London Dungeon tickets?+
A bundle is the cheapest route I can show. The official site prices two attractions at 49 pounds, three at 54 pounds and five at 59 pounds per adult, against 27 pounds for the standard Dungeon ticket alone. A bundle only saves money if you will really visit the other attractions in it.
How much time do I need for London Dungeon?+
A ticket-seller listing in my search check described around an hour and a half, but I could not find a show length on the official pages I could read. I would allow two hours with queueing. Add the London Eye if you book the combo.
Is the London Dungeon ok for kids?+
The GetYourGuide combo listing says it is not suitable for children under 12 or people of a nervous disposition, and that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One reviewer thought 12 and up was about right. Check thedungeons.com for the current age guidance.
How scary is The London Dungeon?+
Reviewers describe jump scares, loud noises, pitch black sections and actors who stay in character. One reviewer said many of the adults in their group screamed out loud. It is a haunted-house style show rather than a gore museum.
Which is better, London Dungeon or Tower of London?+
They are different days out. The Tower of London is a real fortress about 3 km away by my straight-line estimate, with 4.7 stars on Google Maps. The Dungeon is a staged, actor-led show beside the London Eye, rated 4.3. I would pick the Tower for history and the Dungeon for fun with a group.
